Overview
Students undertaking the Certificate III qualification training develop a diverse range of practical skills which may enhance their employment prospects and importantly allow them to contribute positively to the agriculture sector. This extends to current farm employees and school students and trainees who are interested in working in livestock production, poultry, equine, or mixed farming agriculture sectors.

- Machinery Operations
- Fencing
- Livestock husbandry
- Pasture and cropping

Elmore & District SBAT Program
If you are interested in completing a school based traineeship, that combines paid work, training & school, to achieve an industry recognised national qualification (relevant to the Agriculture sector).
The Elmore & District SBAT program runs many classes at the Elmore Recreation Reserve Facilities – Raywood Rd, Elmore, with the remainder of the sessions being field trips to local farms and agriculture business.
- Students attend fortnightly classes during each school term.
- Each alternating fortnight, students attend their workplace during school term.
- The training program also utilise school holidays to hold full days of intensive learning over the duration of the course. This also allows students to develop the required depth of skills and knowledge over the duration of training.
